The website malhotrafurniyure.com is an e-commerce portal, owned and operated by the Company. Use of the website is subject to your acceptance without any modifications to all the terms and conditions made by the Company, as its sole discretion and stated on the website.

User will agree to the terms and privacy policy of the Company by:

  1. Using the services and facilities provided by the website in any way.
  2. Browsing the content on the website.

 

The Company shall not be required to notify you about the modifications made in the terms; the revised terms should be determined by checking the website on a regular basis. Use of services and facilities on the website is subject to the current version of the policy, hence to know about updates in the policy shall be the sole responsibility of the user.

Product Policy

The product shown in the image is a reference product and the new manufactured product can look different from the one shown in the image due to various factors like lighting, manual polish, wood’s texture, etc.

 

The materials used in some of our solid wood products depend on design and functionality. While the primary composition is made from Solid Wood, specific components like back panels or drawers may utilize secondary materials such  metal, or plywood, varying by product.

 

Malhotra furniture products are available in a fixed set of Finishes. So please discuss the finish you need with our customer support team once in order to receive the best quality product.

 

Please note that in case of Solid Wood products, slight grains would be visible. There may be a slight variation in finish between the actual product and the 3-D designs which are being displayed on our website.

 

Service

Malhotrafurniture.com provides an Internet based platform to sell their products and merchandise on the website. Such services enable users to purchase home furnishing products upon placing an order. Once an order placed, the Company will ship the product, and the user will be entitled to pay for it.

Eligibility to Use

According to the Indian Constitution, a person under the age of 18 is minor. Services and facilities offered on our website shall not be available for minors. Please note if you are living outside of India then it’s your responsibility to make sure whether you are eligible or not for our services.

 

Persons barred under the laws of India are not permitted to use our services.

 

The Company reserves the end right to reject or grant the access to a new user or terminate the access of existing users, at any time. Also, the Company shall not be required to furnish any reason for it.

Password, User Account, and Security
The website registration process enables a user to access the services. Certain user information is required to create an account at our website. It is the sole responsibility of the user to maintain the confidentiality of the User Id and password received upon completion of the registration. Users are also responsible for any activity occurred under the account, thus make sure to exit at the end of each session to prevent unauthorized access of your account or breach of security. Product and Pricing Information

The Pricing Information relating to the Product shall be as displayed on the Website and as disclosed to You at the time of Your purchase/order. We do not guarantee that the price will be the lowest for similar products within any given locality, city, region or geography. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice or any consequential liability to You. While Malhotra furniture strives to provide accurate information relating to Products and Services including pricing information or availability, but typographical and other errors may occur. In the event that a Product or Service is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to an error, Malhotra Furniture will have the right to modify the price of the Product or Services and contact You for further instructions via e-mail address provided by You at the time of registration, or cancel the order and notify You of such cancellation. If Malhotra Furniture cancels the order after the payment has been processed, the said amount will be remitted to Your account from which the payment was made.

 

Malhotra Furniture reserves the right to change the discounts offered at any time during the sale and without prior notice.

Return and refunds – Wooden Street

How do I Cancel an item purchased on Wooden Street?

  • Cancellation in Case of Damage: In case if you receive a damaged or defective product, bring it to the notice of delivery personnel immediately at the time of delivery and report a complaint by raising a ticket at the help center.
  • Damage & defect will be assessed in 72 hours, and a solution will be provided. If, in the opinion of Malhotra Furniture, the product is broken, it may be returned/replaced, or any other corrective measure may be taken, as deemed appropriate by Wooden Malhotra Furniture, to address the issue.
  • Cancellation in case of Wrong Product:If the product does not comply with the specifications as per your original order, raise the issue immediately & report it by raising a ticket at the help center.
  • Cancellation in Case of Change in Requirement/Mind

You can cancel your order for any product within 24 hours of placing it, and a refund will be initiated to your Malhotra furniture Wallet corresponding to that order. However, cancellation can only be done if the product is not shipped or in the production or pre-production stage. Post the 24-hour window, no cancellation will be entertained.

  • For fragile products, customers are requested to share an unboxing video in case of damage/defect.

Warranties

Our products come with 36 months* warranty period, which covers manufacturing/workmanship defects issues that occur during the warranty period. The warranty applies to furniture used under normal household conditions.

This warranty applies to the products purchased after 25th Feb 2023.

This limited warranty does not apply to the following:

  • Normal wear and tear of the product over prolonged use
  • Small cuts, scratches or damages due to wrong cleaning methods or impacts/accidents
  • Damage caused due to incorrect installation/assembly by the customer
  • Products that have been stored, assembled, or installed incorrectly, used inappropriately or cleaned using the wrong cleaning methods or cleaning products. (eg, upholstery furniture will lighten over time if it’s exposed to direct sunlight)
  • Cracks developed due to the displacement of the product
  • Decaying of wood due to consistent exposure to water
  • In response to seasonal climate variations, solid wood will contract and expand throughout the life of the product, and it does not cover under the warranty section (for solid wood furniture).
  • Joint lines, wood grains, or other issues related to the natural characteristics of wood are not defects and are not covered under warranty. In addition, any claim for seasonal splits or joint opening is limited to the warranty period from the time of purchase (for solid wood furniture).
  • Upholstery fabrics such as seat covers have no warranty. For upholstery products, the warranty applies to the frame and mechanisms, if any.
  • Non-standard dry-cleaning procedures or the use of harsh chemicals.
  • Consistent with industry benchmarks, variations of up to 2 inches in the dimensions of furniture pieces are acceptable. Such discrepancies are typical due to the nature of materials and manufacturing processes and do not impair the quality or functionality of products. As such, these variations are not covered under our warranty.
  • Please note that our product warranties will be terminated if the product is relocated from its original delivery location. Relocating your product to a new address effectively ends the warranty period. To avoid voiding your warranty, please consider this before planning any relocation of your purchased items.
  • The warranty on our products will be considered null and void if any installation, assembly, or repair has been carried out by a third party not authorized by Malhotra furniture. To maintain your warranty coverage, please ensure that all installations and repairs are conducted by approved Wooden Street professionals.

Delivery:

Our support and delivery team will be in coordination with you for a hassle-free installation process.

 

Free delivery is only applicable for the very first attempt on a visit to your ship-to address. In case of a missed delivery, (from a customer)/ an extra visiting charge would be applicable for later installation.

 

Our delivery partner shall only deliver the product to the ground floor in the absence of a service lift in your apartment. (if applicable)
